What type of radiofrequency is the Pelleve system?

The system frequency is monopolar which requires an active electrode handpiece (HP) and a neutral pad (antenna) to complete the circuit. A bipolar mode is also available to be used only for the purpose of surgical applications.

What area does Pelleve treat?

Pellevé is FDA cleared to treat full face non-ablative treatment of mild to moderate facial wrinkles and rhytids for all skin phototypes. This means Pellevé is cleared for full facial treatment, chin to forehead. Additionally, since Pellevé uses RF energy that is not absorbed by melanin, it can be used on any skin type.

Are there different sized handpieces? If so, what are they?

There are 5 different handpieces that come with the system: 10, 15, 20, 25, 30mm.
